Overview
Founded in 2018, La Heen Gallery has quickly emerged as a platform for contemporary art that celebrates the essence of Korean aesthetics. The gallery has a growing roster of emerging artists and hosts exhibitions featuring some of the most exciting voices in Korean contemporary art.
La Heen engages with the public by hosting artist talks and artist-led workshops, and supports artists through a dedicated residency programme with studio space to nurture creativity and expand the horizons of Korean contemporary art.
Beyond its exhibitions, through bespoke art advisory and curatorial services, La Heen explores immersive experiences driven by art. La Heen actively participates in major art fairs, fostering a dynamic dialogue between the Korean art scene and the global art world.
This April, La Heen Gallery will present works by Seo Wonmi (b. 1990, South Korea), Goyoson (b. 1995, South Korea), Kim Jungin (b. 1991, South Korea), Kang Jonggil (b. 1991, South Korea) and Yi Younguk (b. 1991, South Korea) at ART OnO 2025.
2018년에 설립된 라흰 갤러리는 한국 현대미술의 흥미로운 목소리들을 담은 전시를 개최하며 동시대 미술을 알리고 한국 미학의 정수를 탐구하는 플랫폼으로 입지를 구축하고 있습니다.
또한 라흰은 아티스트 토크나 작가가 주도하는 워크숍 등을 개최하여 대중의 참여를 유도하고, 스튜디오 공간을 갖춘 전용 레지던시 프로그램을 통해 작가들을 지원함으로써 그들의 창의성을 함양하는 동시에 한국 현대미술의 지평을 넓히고 있습니다.
전시뿐만 아니라 라흰은 맞춤형 예술 자문 및 큐레이팅 서비스를 제공하여 예술에 의한 몰입형 환경을 탐구합니다. 이 외에도 라흰은 주요 아트 페어에 참여하며 한국 미술 시장과 세계 미술계 간의 역동적인 대화를 촉진하고자 합니다.
오는 4월, 라흰 갤러리는 ART OnO 2025에서 서원미 (b. 1990, South Korea), 고요손 (b. 1995, South Korea), 김정인 (b. 1991, South Korea), 강종길 (b. 1991, South Korea) 그리고 이영욱 (b. 1991, South Korea) 작가의 작품을 선보일 예정입니다.
