SPACE SO is pleased to present «Never to be one. Yet beautiful.» bringing Areum Kim, Lee Yeon Jung, Jang Doen, Jangyeun Jun, Alex Cho, and ha-sunwooh. Alongside their works—extensions of themselves—they venture toward worlds yet to come, resembling spacecrafts leaving behind engines and fairings with roar. The exhibition traces the artists’ trajectories, posing questions about what once seemed inseparable, what was even closer to the self than the self itself, or perhaps what now lingers as little more than the faint tail of a receding star.

«영원히 하나가 될 수 없다. 우리는 아름답다.»는 김아름, 이연정, 장도은, 전장연, 조완준, 하선우와 함께합니다. 분신과도 같은 작품과 함께, 아직 오지 않은 세계로 나아가는 이들의 모습은 마치 굉음과 함께 엔진과 페어링을 남기고 멀어지는 우주발사체처럼 보이는 듯합니다. 전시는 작가들의 궤적을 따르며 한때는 하나였다고 믿었던, 자신보다 더 자신에 가까웠던 것, 혹 이제는 담담히 멀어져 가는 별의 꼬리에 불과할지도 모르는 것들에 대해 질문을 던지고자 합니다.
