Sound. Thieves. Humor. Intuition. Geomancy. Atmosphere. Space. All of these are concepts or phenomena with no concrete visual presence. We cannot see sounds. We cannot see the actions of thieves. We cannot see humor. We cannot see intuition. We all know these concepts exist. But for the most part they have no visual expression or presence. These non-visual themes continue to fascinate Chris and inform the way he works both visually and through text. This talk will share some of the processes and stories of working visually with the non-visual.
