Tim Wright

Tim Wright, a London-based artist, graduated in Fine Art from Middlesex University in the 1980s. His early work focused on the figure, exploring its fragmentation through dynamic painting techniques. His practice has since evolved into two main areas: portraiture, which captures likeness and personality, and figure painting, which delves into broader themes. Wright has exhibited widely, both in the UK and internationally, and has also taught fine art at various London institutions. Recently, he worked as a painting consultant for the film Mr Turner, teaching actor Timothy Spall to paint for his role.
