Ha Minsu rearticulates realities mediated through news and mass media by stitching them onto fabric. The series produced during the pandemic slowly brings onto the surface of the work the time of social isolation, discrimination, and marginalized lives, giving rhythm to excluded bodies and memories.

She received her BFA in Painting from Hongik University in 1984 and her MFA from the same university in 1986. Her major solo exhibitions include The Wild Roses Are in Full Bloom (2024, Unhyeongung Gallery, Seoul) and People Dancing Together (2022, Saemunan Gallery, Seoul). Selected group exhibitions include Deviant Orbits (2026, Lazy Mike, Seoul), Nanjido × META VOX 40: All That Was Solid Melted (2025, Total Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul), and Connected Bodies: Asian Women Artists (2024, National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul), among more than 80 group exhibitions.

하민수는 미디어와 기사 속에서 시사화되는 현실을 천 위에 바느질하는 방식으로 다시 호출한다. 팬데믹 시기에 제작된 연작은 사회적 고립과 차별, 그리고 주변화된 존재들의 시간을 천천히 화면 위로 불러오며, 배제된 몸과 기억에 리듬을 부여한다.

그는 1984년 홍익대학교 미술대학 서양화과를 학사 졸업하고, 1986년 동대학원 서양화과를 석사 졸업했다. 주요 개인전으로 2024년 〈찔레꽃이 만발하였습니다〉(운현궁 갤러리, 서울), 2022년 〈함께 춤추는 사람들〉(새문안 갤러리, 서울) 등이 있으며, 주요 단체전으로 2026년 〈이상궤도〉(레이지마이크, 서울), 2025년 〈난지도×META VOX 40: 녹아내린 모든 견고함〉(토탈미술관, 서울), 2024년 〈접속하는 몸 아시아 여성 미술가들〉(국립현대미술관 서울관, 서울) 등 80여 회 참여했다.
