ARTSIDE Gallery is pleased to present Han Manyoung’s solo exhibition, Time Stitching: Patterns of Time, from March 27 to April 25. Extending his decades-long Reproduction of Time series, the artist explores the essence of art that exists beyond the boundaries of time and space. In this exhibition, Han employs his signature visual language—appropriating icons from classical masterpieces and juxtaposing them with contemporary objects—to pull the preserved past into a modern context, creating new layers of time.

아트사이드 갤러리에서는 3월 27일부터 4월 25일까지 한만영 개인전 ‘Time Stitching: 시간의 무늬’를 개최한다. 작가는 수십 년간 천착해 온 ‘시간의 복제(Reproduction of Time)’ 시리즈의 연장선상에서 시공간을 초월해 존재하는 예술의 본질을 탐구한다. 이번 전시에서 작가는 고전 명화의 도상을 차용하고 현대적 오브제와 병치하는 특유의 문법을 통해, 박제된 과거를 현재의 맥락으로 끌어올리며 시간의 새로운 층위를 형성한다.
