Genti Korini
Genti Korini’s (b. 1979) work is particularly interested in the juxtaposition of modernity and modernism within the cultural and historical framework of his native country, Albania. His work operates as a linkage between painting, sculpture, photography, and moving images.
The public is invited to explore the politics of aesthetics, the migration and reconfiguration of decontextualized images and forms, as symptoms of social and ideological transformations. The works invite the viewer to experience beyond their surface level and consider the deeper conceptual, political, and social implications.
