LEEBIN SOYEON looks at how being a stranger works in politics, using exaggeration and fiction as simple storytelling tools. Her work moves between straight talk and play, letting reality and make-believe overlap.
Instead of model figures of official solidarity, she follows the rough politics of people who refuse, hesitate, or disrupt—and from there, she looks for “solidarity without solidarity”.

Leebinsoyeon received a BFA in Graphic Design from the Kyung Hee University. Solo exhibitions include Nothing(0) Department (sangheeut, Seoul, 2024), Love on the Air (YPC Space, Seoul, 2022), and Final Touch (3standardstoppage, Beijing, 2021; Jeonsigonggan, Seoul, 2020). Recent group exhibitions include 12th Amado Annuale: In Progress (Amado Art Space, Seoul, 2025), Floating Worlds: Bed, Bath, Bus (Sehwa Museum of Art, Seoul, 2025), Mysterious Solidarities of Messengers (Daejeon Museum of Art, 2024), and How Does Performance Art Work? (Platform-L, Seoul, 2023).

이빈소연은 과장되고 허황된 서사를 만들어 이방인의 정치성을 탐구한다.
서사는 지칠 정도로 진담과 농담 사이를 오가며, 현실 그리고 허구와 끊임없이 교차·중첩된다.
작가는 정상성의 연대에서 모범으로 호명되는 주체들보다, 연대를 거부하거나, 회의적이거나,
어깃장을 놓는 자들이 벌이는  좌충우돌의 정치에서 나를 발견하는 경험을 통해 연대 없는 연대를 모색한다.

이빈소연은 경희대학교에서 시각디자인을 전공했다. 주요 개인전으로는 《아무것도 아닌 게 아닌 부서》(상히읗, 서울, 2024), 《사랑의 작대기 Love on the Air》(YPC Space, 서울, 2022), 《Final Touch》(3standardstoppage, 베이징, 2021; 전시공간, 서울, 2020) 등이 있다. 최근에는 《제12회 아마도애뉴얼날레: 목하진행중》(아마도예술공간, 서울, 2025), 《유영하는 세계: Bed, Bath, Bus》(세화미술관, 서울, 2025), 《메신저의 신비한 결속》(대전시립미술관, 2024), 《How Does Performance Art Work?》(플랫폼엘, 서울, 2023) 등 국내외 주요 단체전에 참여하며 활동을 이어가고 있다.
