SONGEUN
Overview
SONGEUN is a non-profit exhibition space operated by the SONGEUN Art and Cultural Foundation. Building on the foundations of SongEun ArtSpace and SongEun ArtCube, its new landmark building opened in Cheongdam-dong in September 2021. Designed by the renowned architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron as their first realized project in Korea, its innovative, multi-layered layout of exhibition spaces allows visitors to engage with contemporary art from diverse perspectives.
Dedicated to fostering the growth of Korean artists and promoting international exchange, SONGEUN hosts the annual SONGEUN Art Award alongside various collection, group and solo exhibitions. This April, SONGEUN is proud to present works by Ahn Jungju, recipient of the Excellence Award at the 17th SongEun Art Award, alongside Ji Seon Kim, selected for the 2018–2019 SongEun ArtCube Exhibition Support Program, at Art OnO 2026.
송은은 송은문화재단이 운영하는 복합 문화공간으로, 송은아트스페이스와 송은 아트큐브의 활동을 기반으로 2021년 9월 청담동에 신사옥을 개관했습니다. Herzog & de Meuron이 설계한 이 건물은 한국에서 처음 선보인 프로젝트로, 전시 공간과 지원 시설을 입체적으로 구성해 관람객이 현대미술을 다층적으로 경험할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
송은은 송은미술대상과 국내외 기획전시, 개인전을 통해 한국 작가의 성장을 지원하고 해외 작가·큐레이터와의 교류를 이어가고 있습니다. 오는 4월 송은은 아트오앤오 2026에서 제17회 송은미술대상 우수상 안정주 작가와 2018–2019 송은 아트큐브 전시 지원 공모 프로그램 선정 작가인 김지선의 작품을 선보일 예정입니다.
