Founded in 2016, PIBI Gallery is dedicated to showcasing exceptional artists from Korea and beyond, exploring the diverse intersections of contemporary art. With a strong emphasis on artistic potential, the gallery supports bold creative pursuits, serving as a dynamic space for dialogue and engagement through curated projects and strategic consulting. Its exhibition program maintains a thoughtful balance, highlighting key figures in Korean contemporary art from the 1980s to the present and introducing emerging artists across multiple disciplines. This distinctive approach has established PIBI Gallery as a leading presence in the contemporary art scene.
PIBI Gallery actively expands opportunities for its artists by collaborating with major museums and institutions and participating in international art fairs. The gallery identifies and nurtures promising new talent through its PIBI_LINK and PIBI+ programs. In addition, PIBI TALK fosters deeper connections with art enthusiasts, while its publishing initiatives contribute to the global recognition of Korean artists. Notable publications include DONGI LEE, Conversation with Art Critic Ryu Byeonghak (2019) and PENTAGON (2021), which examine the artistic journey of Dongi Lee, a pioneering figure in Korean pop art. In 2022, PIBI Gallery published Geometric Abstract Painting: Lee Kyo Jun, offering a comprehensive exploration of Lee Kyo Jun’s work and its influence on installation and geometric abstraction in Korea since the 1970s and 1980s.

국내외 역량 있는 작가들을 조명하고 현대미술의 다양한 접점들을 모색하고자 2016년에 개관한 피비갤러리는 작가의 잠재력에 주목하여 도전을 지원하는 한편, 아트프로젝트 기획 및 아트컨설팅 전반을 아우르는 다양한 채널을 통해 유연한 소통의 공간으로 자리잡아 왔습니다. 1980년~현재에 이르는 한국현대미술 주요 작가를 조명하고 다양한 장르를 아우르는 젊은 작가의 예술세계를 소개하는 전시를 균형있게 기획하여 차별화된 프로그램으로 주목 받고 있습니다.
피비갤러리는 주요 미술관 및 기관과의 다양한 협업과 해외 아트페어 참가를 통해 작가들의 활발한 활동과 국제무대 진출을 돕고, PIBI_LINK & PIBI+ 프로그램을 통해 역량있고 참신한 신진 작가를 발굴하고 지원하고자 합니다. 또한 미술애호가와의 접점 마련을 위한 PIBI TALK를 운영하고, 작가의 예술세계를 심도있게 연구한 도서출판으로 한국작가의 해외진출을 돕는 활동을 이어오고 있습니다. 한국 팝 아트의 시작을 이끈 이동기 작가의 예술세계를 깊이있는 대화로 풀어 낸 도서 <DONGI LEE, Conversation with Art Critic Ryu Byeonghak>(2019), <PENTAGON>(2021), 1970-80년대 한국현대미술 운동과 함께 성장하며 설치와 기하추상회화를 이어오고 있는 이교준 작가의 도서 <이교준의 기하추상회화 Geometric Abstract Painting Lee Kyo Jun>(2022)을 출판하였습니다.
